BRIC Investing – ADR List for Brazil, Russia, India and China

BRIC investment countries – that’s Brazil, Russia, India and China – are some of the hottest emerging markets right now and investors are clamoring for stocks, ADR list standouts and ETF funds in the region. But unlike domestic stocks, BRIC funds and emerging market investments can be difficult to indentify. That’s partially because U.S. investors don’t experience the brands in their day-to-day lives like they do a McDonald’s (MCD[1]) or a Walmart (WMT[2]), but it’s also because the best BRIC investments are often ones few traders have heard of yet.

So how do you go about finding the best Brazil stocks[3] or the best China investments[4]? How can you make sure that your retirement money can grow and thrive thanks to the growth in India and Russia? Simple: Do your homework on the BRIC regularly, and simply follow the money. You see, there are a limited number of BRIC funds[5], ETF investments and stocks that you can choose from if you want to retain the same protection as domestic stocks. These are traded just like shares of stock, with an American bank acting as a go between and the SEC offering the same protections and oversight. Russia ADR List

Here are some of the most widely-held ADR companies that are located in Russia but traded on American exchanges like the NYSE and NASDAQ. You’ll notice there aren’t nearly as many companies traded as ADR in Russia as there are in Brazil.

India ADR List

Here are some of the most widely-held ADR companies that are located in Russia but traded on American exchanges like the NYSE and NASDAQ. Again, there are fewer ADRs than in Brazil, but remember that Brazil has one of the larger stock markets in the world. India ADR investments can be just as profitable even if there are fewer options right now.

China ADR List

Here are some of the most widely-held ADR companies that are located in China. There are about 80 of these companies traded on American exchanges like the NYSE and NASDAQ.
