Rovio’s official launch of the Angry Birds Facebook application was supposed to be set for Valentines Day between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., but the birds have landed earlier than expected — to the delight of the popular game’s fanatical flock and to the chagrin of swine everywhere.

Arriving a day earlier than expected, the game features the same type of game play fans have come to love, but will also feature social add-ons, levels and power-ups only available to Facebook users.

So, turn your computer away from your boss’s office, sign in to Facebook, load up the Adobe (NASDAQ:ADBE) Flash Player 11 and get to “work”. You have important things to do today, and those pigs aren’t going to knock themselves over.
