Poll: Americans Are Fed Up With Paris Hilton

Unlike Betty White[1], America doesn’t love Paris Hilton. In fact, 60% of respondents in a recent poll[2] downright dislike the celebrity who sparked the purse-pooch trend. The survey conducted by Ipsos asked 2,000 Americans to rate 100 well-known celebrities. Hilton, who shot to stardom because her parents are loaded, was the least-liked star on the list.

Also unpopular? Charlie Sheen. He may be a “winning” legend in his own mind, but the troubled actor is a loser when it comes to likability. More than half (54%) of  those surveyed reported unfavorable feelings toward him.

In addition to Americans not feeling the love for Hilton and Sheen, they’re also not fond of celebrities who cheat on their spouses, as demonstrated by Tiger Woods’ and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s standings in the poll.
