When it comes to side dish choices, Wendy’s (NASDAQ:WEN) often is ahead of it’s competition. Most Wendy’s locations offer patrons a choice between its signature chili, a baked potato, a side salad or the classic burger staple … the french fry.
This week, the fast food joint rolled out three more side options:
- Wendy’s Chili Cheese Fries, which combines two of its most popular menu items, will be a permanent member of the side lineup.
- The fast-food joint also debuted macaroni and cheese and a baked sweet potato with a buttery cinnamon topping.
- The cheesy mac and baked sweet potato will only be available for a limited amount of time.
Wendy’s latest additions come after other additions made last year to spark the fast-food chain, including the introduction of the Dave’s Hot ‘N Juicy burger, as well as Frosty parfaits and shakes.
