Hertz (NYSE:HTZ) sped by its competition and took the No. 1 spot in five of the six top categories: “Vehicles,” “Reliability,” “Service,” “Overall” and “Popularity.” National Car Rental took the top spot in the “Bang for the Buck.” category.
National beat out Avis for second place. The car company placed either No. 1 or No. 2 in each of the above categories except for Popularity.
Surveyors also were asked to select the best rental car brands in a variety of additional categories. Again, Hertz did extremely well. Here’s a look at five categories.
