Last week, Facebook’s (NASDAQ:FB) co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg turned 28, and of course, he pulled off one of history’s largest IPOs. Oh, and on Saturday he got married to Priscilla Chan.
The ceremony was at Zuckerberg’s home, and about 100 people attended. Interestingly enough, it was a “surprise wedding.” The guests thought they were coming to a party for Chan’s graduation from medical school.
Zuckerberg and Chan have been dating for nine years, after meeting at Harvard before the creation of Facebook.
OK, so does Mark have a prenuptial agreement? It’s not clear. But in light of his massive wealth, it wouldn’t be a surprise.
In fact, according to a piece in Reuters, it was probably a good move for Mark to get married after the IPO, since an accurate valuation of Facebook’s stock now exists. It could prove beneficial if there’s a breakup down the line.
