People searching for ways to treat dad on Father’s Day need look no further than supermarket shelves or popular restaurant chains.
Snacks and restaurants scored among the highest brand perceptions in a survey of American fathers. YouGov BrandIndex found that M&Ms is the leading brand among dads. Other foods scoring in the top 10 include Subway sandwiches, Snickers and General Mills’ (NYSE:GIS) Cheerios.
If you think that dad might appreciate something other than food on his special day, YouGov BrandIndex also found that Sony (NYSE:SNE) and Bose ranked well among fathers in brand perception.
Alternatively, Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) ranked highly, meaning you can order books — or just about anything else — for dad from the Internet retailer. Lowe’s (NYSE:LOW) also garnered significant brand perception from home-repair-conscious dads.
