Tis the season for graduations. Although research has shown that it often pays to have a college degree, there are some decent jobs out there that don’t require a diploma from a 4-year institution of higher learning. Online job search site CareerCast[1], compiled a list of 20 jobs that do not require a college degree — although some additional education may be warranted.

Here’s a look at 10 jobs on CareerCast’s list.

1. Dental Hygienist: Income Average – $68,000
2. Medical Secretary: Income Average – $31,000
3. Paralegal Assistant: Income Average – $47,000
4. Heating and Refrigeration Mechanic: Income Average – $43,000
5. Surveyor: Income Average – $55,000
6. Executive Assistant: Income Average – $44,000
7. Insurance Agent: Income Average – $47,000
8. Construction Machine Operator: Income Average – $40,000
9. Electrical Technician: Income Average – $56,000
10. Teacher’s Aide: Income Average – $23,000
