Fortune: 10 Top Companies Hiring Now

Unemployment rates are still high, but there is some good news on the job front. Fortune[1] has compiled a list of 25 major companies that each have at least 700 jobs available. That’s a total of more than 56,000 available spots.

The complete list is published at CNN.com. Here’s a look at 10 of the companies.

  1. Google[2] (NASDAQ:GOOG[3]): 701 current openings
  2. Boston Consulting Group[4]: About 2,000 current openings
  3. Wegmans Food Markets[5]: 884 current openings
  4. Edward Jones[6]: 1,515 current openings
  5. Chesapeake Energy[7] (NYSE:CHK[8]): 900 current openings
  6. Qualcomm[9] (NASDAQ:QCOM[10]): About 1,000 current openings
  7. Whole Foods Market[11] (NASDAQ:WFM[12]): 1,000 current openings
  8. Adobe[13] (NASDAQ:ADBE[14]): About 800 current openings
  9. Intel[15] (NASDAQ:INTC[16]): About 1,200 current openings
  10. PricewaterhouseCoopers[17]: 2,200 current openings
