Close to 400,000 plastic toothpicks — valued at about $2,800 — were stolen from Armond’s Manufacturing Company in Athens, Ga.
Since there have been no signs of forced entry, the owner believes that the burglary was either an inside job or committed by a former employee, the Athens Banner-Herald reported.
According to the police, two current employees said they spotted a man selling Armond’s toothpicks at a local flea market.
