Draw Something With Ryan Seacrest is coming to CBS (NYSE:CBS), although an air date for the new game show has not been slated.
The show, which is based on Zynga‘s (NASDAQ:ZNGA) popular game app, will unite celebrities with regular folks and encourage live and at-home audience participation via smartphones and tablets made by Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) and other technology companies, according to VentureBeat.
ZNGA shares plummeted during the past several months but climbed more than 5.5% during afternoon trading today.
Seacrest, probably doesn’t need the show to work out as badly as Zynga does. The popular radio and television personality has a lot of irons in the fire, including the possible purchase of Dick Clark Productions.
