The Learning Center, an alternative school for at-risk youth in Langhorne, Pa., recently put itself up for sale on eBay (NASDAQ:EBAY).
The actual offer ended today, but the Associated Press reported that the starting bid was just under $600,00 — the amount the school needs to stay open for the 2012-2013 school year.
At this time, it’s not clear if a buyer was found. If so, the winning bidder won’t actually get the school, but will be rewarded with the following:
- A naming opportunity
- A free pizza
- A personalized school coffee mug
- The opportunity to deliver a speech at graduation
