The U.S. Olympic team will wear the elegant uniforms pictured above during the opening ceremony in London. The crisp navy-blue beret with a pop of red and white stripes is the main attention-getter of the refined ensemble created by  Ralph Lauren (NYSE:RL).

The company also is providing the uniforms that the Olympic and Paralympic teams will wear to the closing ceremony, as well as the casual clothing the athletes will wear in the Olympic Village. Fans of the designs can purchase the uniforms and other attire from Ralph Lauren’s 2012 U.S. Olympic Collection.

A majority of the uniforms that will be worn during competitions and medal ceremonies have been designed by Nike (NYSE:NKE).
