Chain Restaurants: Top 10 Social Media Stars

Nation’s Restaurant News (NRN) recently released the second-quarter results of its Restaurant Social Media Index (RSMI) Top 100[1].
The RSMI is a quantitative effort to track the social media activity of more than 600 restaurant brands, according to NRN.
Here’s a peek at the 10 restaurant chains that NRN says did the best job of engaging consumers via social media channels during the second quarter of this year.
- Starbucks (NASDAQ:SBUX[2])
- Wendy’s (NASDAQ:WEN[3])
- Red Mango
- McDonald’s (NYSE:MCD[4])
- Chick-fil-A
- Panera Bread (NASDAQ:PNRA[5])
- Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE:CMG[6])
- Taco Bell — Yum! Brands (NYSE:YUM[7])
- Subway
- Firehouse Subs
