Kim Kardashian and Old Navy Make Nice in Look-Alike Dispute
The retailer and star privately settled the $20 million lawsuit
Old Navy — which is owned by Gap (NYSE:GPS) — and reality television celebrity Kim Kardashian have called a truce, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The retailer and star privately settled the $20 million lawsuit Wednesday. Kardashian filed the suit earlier this year accusing Old Navy of tarnishing her image by using a look-alike celebrity in its ads.
The terms of the settlement have not been publicly disclosed, but the commercial at the center of the controversy is no longer available on YouTube.
