Online retailer and auction site eBay (NASDAQ:EBAY) has made some additions to the forbidden section of its 2012 Fall Seller Update.
What’s out? Magic.
Effective Aug. 30, eBay will no longer permit the sale of the following products:
- Spells
- Curses
- Hexing
- Conjuring
- Magic
- Prayers
- Blessing services
- Magic potions
- Healing sessions
“Transactions in these categories often result in issues between the buyer and seller that are difficult to resolve,” eBay writes in the update. “To help build confidence in the marketplace for both buyers and sellers, eBay is discontinuing these categories and including the items on the list of prohibited items.”
Mystical items aren’t the only products getting the boot from eBay. A full list of what won’t be available — along with a list of what’s new — can be accessed on the site.
