Donald Trump Promises Obama Surprise

Self-promoter Donald Trump is grabbing more headlines this week. The real estate development and reality TV star has promised to deliver a “bombshell”[1] on Wednesday — one that will supposedly rock President Barack Obama’s campaign.

Trump began hinting at some sort of reveal last week in a series of tweets. In one he states:

“It’s going to be announced probably on Wednesday. But I have something very, very big concerning the President of the United States.”

The tycoon is no stranger to  self-promotion or the political game, of course. In fact, for him they seem to go hand-in-hand. Earlier in the 2012 election cycle Trump publicly flirted with a run for the nation’s highest office, got some serious publicity, then backed off to remain on the sidelines.

In any event, the smart money is on Trump carrying on with his fascination with Mr. Obama’s place of birth. In the past Trump has committed himself to proving that Mr. Obama was not born a citizen of the U.S.
