With some big shows coming up, even the Rolling Stones need some practice time. And the fans in Paris are going to benefit from that fact.
The band, preparing for its London and New York City shows, decided that a warm-up show was needed and that Paris would be the place to hold it. The Stones tweeted that 350 tickets would be available for a show at a club called Trabendo, which holds 700.
Tickets went on sale at noon today at the Virgin Megastore (NASDAQ:VMED) in Paris with a price of 15 euros — or just under $19.50. That’s a sharp drop compared to the seats for the shows in London, which range from 95 pounds ($150) to 950 pounds ($1,500).
Last week, the Stones announced a four-date 50th anniversary tour. The shows will be held in November and December. The final show will be available on pay-per-view and will be produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (NYSE:WWE).
Singer Mick Jagger has hinted that a longer tour may follow in 2013.
