While some industries are adding workers at a fast pace, employment opportunities aren’t distributed equally across the country. Some major metropolitan areas are doing better than others at attracting new jobs.
Not surprisingly, places like Texas are thriving due to expanding oil and gas activity, while San Francisco is benefiting from increased technology company hiring.
CareerBuilder teamed with Economic Modeling Specialists (EMSI) to analyze U.S. employment trends and identify the American metropolitan area that are seeing the most employment growth.
The following ten Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs), areas associated with large cities, are seeing the highest employment growth, according to CareerBuilder and EMSI:
