Whitney Houston’s Daughter Settles Estate Fight, Will Receive $22M

[1]The feud over the estate of singer Whitney Houston appears to be over[2].

The dispute between Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, and her mother, Cissy Houston, reportedly has been settled to reflect Whitney Houston’s original will: Brown will get $2 million at age 21, $4 million at age 25, and $16 million at age 30.

The will was challenged by Houston’s mother following the singer’s death. Cissy Houston questioned the wisdom of so much money being left to a young person still grieving.

It has been less than a year since Whitney Houston’s death; in that time, her daughter has become a celebrity in her own right, producing a music album and appearing on Tyler Perry’s For Better or For Worse.

Brown also has her own reality show on Lifetime, The Houstons: On Our Own.
