It’s said that everything has its price. Apparently that becomes even more true when you involve an Australian filmmaker.
At the urging of movie director Justin Sisley, a young Brazilian woman and man have auctioned off their virginity for an upcoming documentary. Sisley hopes his film can show both the impact of the auction and the changes the young people go through with sudden wealth.
Wealth is relative, of course. The woman, Catarina Migliorini, saw her first time go for $780,000 to a Japanese man. Her counterpart, Alex Stepanov, managed to pull in only $3,000 from a Brazilian woman for his own. Migliorini says she plans to use the money to help build homes in Brazil.
Sisley claims his movie, which will feature the two in the act of losing their virginity, is about money and how it changes people. The scene in question will be shot on board an airplane between countries to avoid national laws regarding sex-for-money.
Sisley has been working on the project for three-and-a-half years. He hopes to release it, either as a movie or TV, in the next year.
