[1]Troubled actor Charlie Sheen is denying that he gave away an item valued at more than $2.5 million.
The actor, who has a history of problems related to drugs and alcohol, gave away a baseball autographed by Yankees legend Babe Ruth, The Daily Mirror reports[2]. The recipient of the drunken mistake? High School Musical star Zac Ephron.
The handover reportedly occurred at a recent holiday party hosted by Sheen. It was only after the party, when Sheen noticed the missing spot in his collection of baseball memorabilia, that he realized what he had done.
The value of the ball is controversial. While Sheen may have paid millions for it, other Babe Ruth autographed baseball sell for the low thousands of dollars.
There has been no confirmation from Efron, who starred in 2012′s The Lorax, about whether he has the ball. Sheen denies having given the ball away, and told Business Insider that he still had it[3].
