A new “Diner of the Future, as Denny’s (NASDAQ:DENN) has opted to call it, is now open in Las Vegas.
The latest — and most outrageous — location of the restaurant chain opened on Fremont Street in the Nevada city yesterday, reports Reuters. It’s different from all other Denny’s restaurants, with modern curves and bright colors.
The new restaurant is meant to be over the top so that it fits in with the city’s entertainment culture. Zip lines and another restaurant that sells the highest calorie burger anywhere are nearby on the busy Las Vegas strip.
And of course, there’s also going to be a wedding chapel on the premises. Scheduled to open next spring, the chapel is already booked for a celebrity wedding as its first ceremony.
The food will be equally attention-grabbing. One prominent menu item is the “King Stack” — a French toast sandwich that features bacon, peanut butter and bananas as a tribute to legendary Las Vegas entertainer, Elvis Presley.
