[1]No. 3 soft drink maker, Dr Pepper Snapple Group (NYSE:DPS[2]), will introduce five new version of its sodas next year, all of which contain 10 calories.
The new beverages follow on the heels of 2011′s launch of Dr Pepper Ten, a 10-calorie version of the popular soda, the Associated Press reports[3]. The new drink line is designed to appeal to those who want a low-calorie drink without totally giving up the sweet taste. The 10-calorie formula contains a small amount of high-fructose corn syrup to maintain the drink’s flavor without adding extra calories.

Unlike Dr Pepper Ten, which is marketed to men, the new drinks will be marketed to both men and women.
