Katie Holmes Did NOT Buy This $24K Present for Suri

[1]Despite the rumors, actress Katie Holmes has not gone overboard on Christmas presents for six-year-old Suri Cruise.

Sweet Retreat Kids, an expensive designer of toys for children, is denying tabloid rumors that Holmes purchased a $24,000 playhouse for Suri, reports entertainmentwise.com[2], which cites a Celebuzz interview with store owner Stacy Evrard in which he said, “We have not sold this playhouse to Katie Holmes.”

The playhouse would be worth it. With running water, cathedral ceilings, several rooms and loft, the thing is any kid’s dream of a playhouse, maybe even a play-mansion.

Suri is the daughter of Holmes and superstar actor Tom Cruise. The two divorced earlier this year. Cruise, who is starring in the upcoming Oblivion, said he would be spending Christmas with all three of his children, including Suri.
