Popular singer Frank Ocean has stirred up some controversy about his father.
In a tweet last night, Ocean wrote, “Father wanna sue me for a million. Like I owe him back child support. Weak individual bought me a swiss knife at 6yrs old then dipped on me,” New Musical Express reported. Ocean soon deleted the tweet.
It’s not the first time the rapper has tweeted about his father. Earlier tweets include, “I got his DNA though, maybe I inherited some of his karma too,” and “Just found out my absent father’s been cyberstalking me, hi dad.”
Ocean’s debut album, Channel Orange, peaked at No. 2 on the U.S. album charts. Prior to becoming a recording artist, Ocean had a successful career writing songs for artists as diverse as Justin Bieber, John Legend and Brandy.
Earlier this year, Ocean hinted that his debut album might be his only one. He told The Guardian that his next project might be writing a novel.
