Shark Tank Bursts Over Shoppers

Shoppers in a mall in Shanghai found themselves flooded by sharks this month.

The 33-ton shark tank at the Oriental Shopping Center gave way while four bystanders were watching the sharks swim behind the glass, ABC News reports[1]. When the tank burst, the shoppers were swept back while sharks, turtles and a wall of water flooded the mall.

While several kiosks were damaged in the flood, no bystanders were hurt. However, the sharks caught in the flood were killed. The shopping center has announced that it will not rebuild the tank.
