Here’s one stock hitting a 52-week high and one finding a 52-week low today:
New High: Visa
Shares of Visa (NYSE:V) are up slightly after the open, sending the stock to a new 52-week high. Shares are now worth just over $150 — nearly 50$ more than they were worth when the year kicked off.
The company got a slight boost early in November when it reported earnings 4 cents better than analysts were expecting. Revenue also rose nearly 15% year-over-year in the fourth quarter.
The company also made news today when its Chief Marketing Officer sold 15,000 shares for nearly $2 million.
New Low: Generex Biotechnology
Shares of Generex Biotechnology (PINK:GNBT) have lost a whopping 74% so far this year, sending shares to a 52-week low of under 4 cents. The company shed nearly 10% in one day late last month after announcing a secondary stock offering.
