10 Restaurants With the Most Effective Ads

[1]A new study by Ace Metrix, a marketing firm based in Mountain View, Calif., has determined which restaurants did best with their advertising in 2012.
The study found that ads focusing on the food, while highlighting affordability, did best, Nation’s Restaurant News is reporting[2]. The ads were measured using Ace Metrix’s Ace Score system to quantify how watchable and persuasive each ad was.
The top casual-dining restaurants in the survey:
- Olive Garden (NYSE:DRI[3])
- LongHorn Steakhouse (also owned by DRI)
- Ruby Tuesday (NYSE:RT[4])
- Applebee’s (NYSE:DIN[5])
- Outback Steakhouse (NASDAQ:BLMN[6])
The top fast-food restaurants in the survey:
- Pizza Hut (NYSE:YUM[7])
- Baskin-Robbins (NASDAQ:DNKN[8])
- Dairy Queen
- Domino’s Pizza (NYSE:DPZ[9])
- KFC (also owned by YUM)
