[1]Performer Kid Rock is partnering up with Harley-Davidson (NYSE:HOG[2]) to promote the motorcycle maker’s anniversary.
The performer called it a “dream deal,” reports the Associated Press[3]. The Detroit native owns multiple Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Because of that, he didn’t feel like he was selling out by accepting the sponsorship for his tour.
The tour — dubbed the “Rebel Soul” tour after the singer’s latest album — will feature a concert in Milwaukee that will celebrate the 110th anniversary of Harley-Davidson as a company. In addition, there is a limited-edition line of “Rebel Soul” merchandise that will feature both Kid Rock and Harley-Davidson logos. The merchandise will be available at Kid Rock concerts and at select Harley-Davidson dealerships.
Harley-Davidson is also putting together a national contest for the tour. The winner will receive a customized motorcycle that he can ride onstage with Kid Rock during a concert.
