The Baltimore Ravens may have to pay out a huge amount of money to keep their quarterback.
Joe Flacco is expected to ask for at least $20 million to extend his contract with the NFL team, Sports World Report notes.
That sort of compensation would put the 28-year-old QB in the salary ranks of Peyton Manning and Drew Brees, who have five-year contracts worth $96 million and $100 million, respectively.
After leading his team to Super Bowl XLVII, Flacco will become an unrestricted free agent next season. He is at the end of a five-year contract worth $29.75 million.
