[1]A man was killed Tuesday after taking pictures of teen singer Justin Bieber’s car.
The man was crossing Sepulveda Boulevard on Tuesday after taking the photos of Bieber’s parked white Ferrari when he was struck by a car, the Los Angeles Times reports[2]. He was pronounced dead at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
Bieber’s car was being driven by a friend of Bieber’s when the incident occurred. It had been pulled off Interstate 405 by the California Highway Patrol for a traffic stop and was directed to Sepulveda by the officer making the stop.
The man pulled onto Sepulveda and got out to cross traffic to take photos of the Ferrari. There is no information about whether the man intended to sell the photos or if they were for a personal collection. A friend of the dead man told KCAL-TV that the man was not a professional photographer.
Bieber was not in the car at the time it was pulled over or during the incident.
