Screenwriter: ‘Fifty Shades’ Movie Will Be ‘Raunchy’

[1]Kelly Marcel, recently hired as screenwriter for the Fifty Shades of Grey movie adaptations, is making a pretty obvious promise:

The movies will be filled with sex.

Marcel says no punches will be pulled in the movie versions of the popular E. L. James books, The Daily Telegraph reports[2]. Marcel told the Telegraph, “Well, there’s going to be a lot of sex in this film. It will be NC-17. We are 100% going there.”

Even so, Marcel insists that the movie is, in essence, a romance. She says it’s about two people in love and working out their relationship in their own way. She also claims the production is under the strictest security, and even the trash at her home is being shredded to protect the film’s secrets.

The Fifty Shades of Grey series has been a consistent best-seller for many months now.
