[1]Soft-drink giant Coca-Cola (NYSE:KO[2]) announced Monday that it has signed singer Taylor Swift to be the new face of Diet Coke.
The Grammy-winning performer will be featured in print, TV and online ads, The Atlanta Journal Constitution reported[3]. Diet Coke will also be featured in the singer’s upcoming concert tour set to begin March 13.
Swift currently holds the top spot on Billboard’s Top 40 with I Knew You Were Trouble from her album Red. The song will be featured in Diet Coke ads along with Swift.
“Taylor tells us that every day Diet Coke plays a small part in helping her stay extraordinary. It’s one of the many reasons she’s the ideal partner to represent our brand,” said Katie Bayne, Coca-Cola’s president for North American Brands.
