The theft occurred sometime during the Christmas season, according to a story in the Palo Alto Daily Post quoted on MacObserver.com and elsewhere.
Three offices at the location were broken into, and five Apple iPads were taken, the Daily Post story says. There were no reports of any Microsoft products being stolen. It’s speculated that Microsoft devices may have also been in the pilfered offices, but it’s unknown whether this is true or which offices were broken into.
Police Sgt. Sean Thompson, reports the Daily Post, says there was no sign of forced entry and that there are no suspects.
