The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2 won a questionable honor yesterday as the Razzie nominations were announced.
The film, which grossed over $280 million in the U.S., finds itself with 11 nominations for the prize given to the worst movies of the year, Reuters reports.
The two stars of the film, Kristin Stewart and Robert Pattinson, were nominated for “Worst Actress” and “Worst Actor,” respectively, and the two share the nomination for “Worst Screen Couple.” Stewart received a second “Worst Actress” nomination for her performance in Snow White and the Huntsman.
Also snatching up quite a few nominations is the Adam Sandler comedy, That’s My Boy. The film, which starred Sandler as a ne’er-do-well father trying to wheedle money out of his son, garnered eight nominations.
Actor-director Tyler Perry has several nominations, including one for “Worst Actress” for his repeated roll as Madea in Madea’s Witness Protection. He also was nominated for “Worst Actor” for his performance in Good Deeds and nominated as “Worst Director” for both.
