Companies Increasing DividendsHeading into the tail end of earnings season, we’ve been seeing more companies announce dividend increases, and this week is no exception.

Two soft-drink companies, PepsiCo (NYSE:PEP) and Dr Pepper Snapple (NYSE:DPS), head the list, but media giant Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA), package deliverer UPS (NYSE:UPS) and paint and coatings manufacturer Sherwin Williams (NYSE:SHW) also made moves this week. In the end, 14 companies made it onto our Companies Raising Dividends list:

Specialty chemical manufacturer Albemarle (NYSE:ALB) raised its quarterly dividend 20% to 24 cents per share, payable April 1 to shareholders of record at the close of business March 15. This marks the 19th consecutive year of dividend increases.
Dividend Yield: 1.47%

Media and entertainment company Comcast (NASDAQ:CMSCA) raised its quarterly dividend 20% to 78 cents per share, payable on April 24 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on April 3.
Dividend Yield: 1.90%

Technology-related real estate investment trust (REIT) Digital Realty (NYSE:DLR) raised its quarterly dividend 7% to 78 cents per share, payable on March 29 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on March 15.
Dividend Yield: 4.86%

Integrated nonalcoholic beverage maker Dr Pepper Snapple (NYSE:DPS) raised its quarterly dividend 12% to 38 cents per share, payable on April 5 with an ex-dividend date of March 13.
Dividend Yield: 3.54%

Information processing company Jack Henry (NASDAQ:JKHY) raised its quarterly dividend 13% to 13 cents per share, payable on March 12 to stockholders of record as of Feb. 26.
Dividend Yield: 1.20%

Global finance company KKR (NYSE:KKR) raised its quarterly dividend 191.67% to 70 cents per share payable on March 7 for shareholders of record Feb. 14.
Dividend Yield: 6.80%

U.S. cigarette manufacturer Lorillard (NYSE:LO) raised its quarterly dividend 6.5% to 55 cents per share, payable on March 11 to stockholders of record as of March 1. This marks the fifth increase since Lorillard became an independent publicly traded company in June 2008.
Dividend Yield: 4.99%

Oil and gas holding company Occidental Petroleum (NYSE:OXY) increased its quarterly dividend 18.5% to 64 cents per share, payable on April 15 to stockholders of record as of March 8. This brings the company’s compound annual dividend growth rate over the last 11 years to 16%.
Dividend Yield: 2.99%

Food and beverage giant PepsiCo (NYSE:PEP) raised its quarterly dividend 5.56% to 56.75 cents per share, payable on March 29 to stockholders of record on March 1 with an ex-dividend date as of Feb. 27.
Dividend Yield: 2.94%

Canadian media and communications company Rogers Communications (NYSE:RCI) raised its annual dividend 10% to $1.74 per share, payable on April 2 to shareholders of record on March 15.
Dividend Yield: 3.39%

Paint and industrial coatings manufacturer Sherwin-Williams (NYSE:SHW) raised its quarterly dividend 28% to 50 cents per share, payable on March 8 to shareholders of record on Feb. 25. This marks its 34th consecutive year of dividend increases.
Dividend Yield: 1.20%

North American natural gas transportation company TransCanada (NYSE:TRP) raised its quarterly dividend 5% to 46 cents per share. The company did not release a payout or ex-dividend date. This is the 13th consecutive year of dividend hikes.
Dividend Yield: 3.94%

Package delivery stalwart UPS (NYSE:UPS) raised its quarterly dividend 8.8% to 62 cents per share, payable on March 12 to shareholders of record on Feb. 25. UPS’ dividend has tripled since 2000.
Dividend Yield: 2.73%

Waste and garbage services provider Waste Management (NYSE:WM) raised its quarterly dividend 2.8% to 36.5 cents per share. The company did not provide an ex-dividend or payout date.
Dividend Yield: 3.84%
