[1]Giant online retailer Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN[2]) is planning to open an online memorabilia shop.
The shop will specialize in entertainment collectibles, reports International Business Times[3]. At its debut it will feature more than 350,000 items as diverse as Bradley Cooper’s running suit from Silver Linings Playbook and a copy of the original script for Farewell to Arms.
The new Entertainment Collectibles Store will be stocked with items from Premiere Props. The store – based in El Segundo, Calif. – says it’s the top online seller of movie collectibles with items from more than 500 productions.
“Amazon provides an incredible platform for us to engage movie and television fans and collectors,” said Premiere VP Daniel Levin. Items from all branches of entertainment will be sold at the new store. Featured will be items from The Beatles and Marilyn Monroe as well as movie props from Star Wars and The Twilight Saga.
