Lady Gaga Postpones Concerts in Four Cities

[1]Mega-star Lady Gaga is canceling or postponing several dates on her tour due to injury.

The popular singer — whose real name is Stefani Germanotta — postponed shows in Chicago, Detroit and Hamilton, Ont., that were set for the next week, reports The New York Times[2]. The shows will be rescheduled if possible, and ticket holders are advised to hold on to their tickets until the new dates are announced.

Lady Gaga is suffering from a condition called synovitis. It causes joint pain through a build up of fluids that inflames the membranes around the joints. In a statement, the singer said she’s been suffering from the condition for a month.

In a tweet, she expressed her disappointment, “It will hopefully heal as soon as possible, I hate this. I hate this so much. I love you and I’m sorry.”
