Judy Viger is being charged by prosecutors on five cases of endangering a child’s welfare, reports CNN. She initially was accused by parents of some of the boys who attended the party.
The story came out when the other parents found pictures of the event — ostensibly a bowling party — on Facebook. The boys at the party were photographed making lewd poses with the girls, and the birthday boy was receiving a lap dance in one picture. The parents brought the pictures to the attention of local police, who then began investigating the matter.
“As difficult as it may be for us to have to weigh in on these kinds of cases, certainly exposing the unsuspecting children to this sort of ‘entertainment’ goes beyond the pale when it comes to what is appropriate for 14, 15 and 16 year old child,” District Attorney James Murphy said in a statement.
