People looking to buy a home can get a great offer from Princeton University, if they are willing to do one little thing.
The famed New Jersey university is giving away a number of homes located near the campus for free. However, in order to take advantage of the offer, the new owners will have to physically move the homes to new locations, ABC News notes.
In fact, the homes — formerly used by the university for office space and other purposes — are slated for demolition. The university is planning to build new buildings on the land the houses currently occupy.
A university official said that the offer had attracted some interest, but no actual offers to move any of the houses. The homes are in need of considerable renovation, and moving a house is a costly proposition.
Anyone who wants to take Princeton up on its offer can contact the university. The empty buildings must be taken away by the end of April.
