The woman — wearing dark glasses, a hoodie and a scarf — robbed two banks in the nation’s capital Monday in only 15 minutes, the Associated Press is reporting. The two banks both gave the woman cash when she demanded it, and she left.
At 9:13 a.m. the woman robbed the PNC bank on Wisconsin Avenue, and at 9:13 a.m. she hit the Bank of America on Connecticut Ave. In the first case, the woman handed the teller a note requesting the money. She received cash and left. In the Bank of America robbery, she asked a teller for money and claimed to have a gun. Again, she received the money and left the scene.
The woman is described as possibly Hispanic with dark hair. She also had a bandage on her nose or lip. Anyone with information should contact the FBI at 202-278-2000, or they can submit a tip to the FBI’s tip line or text the Metropolitan Police Dept. at 50411.
