Marguerite Joseph’s Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) is making her a liar.
For the last three years, the Michigan woman has been forced to list her age as 99 on Facebook, despite the fact that she is really 104-years old. Her granddaughter, who created the profile for Joseph, says that every time she tries to enter 1908 as her grandmother’s year of birth, the website returns an error message and then lists the wrong year, the Daily News notes.
The problem prompted the granddaughter to try and contract Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg. The family has did not receive a response from the social media billionaire.
Joseph uses her Facebook account to keep track of her grandchildren and post pictures. She has amassed 109 friends on the website.
Shares of Facebook slid almost 3% in Thursday morning trading.
