It turns out that the highest paid player in NFL history likes his McNuggets.
Employees at an Aberdeen, Maryland, McDonald‘s (NYSE:MCD) spotted the Joe Flacco, who led his Baltimore Ravens to victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII, at the restaurant’s drive-through window on Monday, the Baltimore Sun noted.
The quarterback, who just signed a six-year deal with the Ravens worth $120.6 million, ordered a ten-piece McNuggets meal. It cost him about $7.
Named the Super Bowl’s most valuable player, Flacco was awarded a General Motors (NYSE:GM) 2014 Chevy Corvette, worth about $60,000. He would have had to pay a sizeable tax bill to the IRS if he accepted the car, instead of donating it to charity.
