Hollywood mega-star Ryan Gosling is going to take a break from acting.
Gosling — who despite the break has two movies coming out this spring — feels he’s overexposed, reports USA Today.
In an interview with the Associated Press, Gosling said, “I’ve been doing it too much. I’ve lost perspective on what I’m doing. I think it’s good for me to take a break and reassess why I’m doing it and how I’m doing it. And I think this is probably a good way to learn about that. I need a break from myself as much as I imagine the audience does.”
Still, Gosling’s IMDB page lists him as being attached to one more picture, an untitled Terence Malick project that is tentatively scheduled to shoot in 2013. Other than that, the actor’s fans will have to see him in The Place Beyond the Pines, which opens this month, and Only God Forgives, which is scheduled for a May release.
