Top 10 Used Cars Under $10K

carslogo[1]Ford (NYSE:F[2]) leads a new Cars.com list of the most affordable used cars with four vehicles in the top 10.

In addition, Hyundai (PINK:HYMTF[3]) has two while Honda (NYSE:HMC[4]), Nissan (PINK:NSANY[5]) and Toyota‘s (NYSE:TM[6]) Scion brand all placed once.

The list was compiled by the website — which rates both used and new cars — from a variety of factors and sources.

Editor Patrick Olsen, the editor for the website, said, “We took a look at cars from 2006 or later and came up with the best 10 used cars that shoppers should be able to find for around $10,000. To make our list, the cars had to pass crash tests and have key standard safety features. We also analyzed reliability, drivability and practicality.”
