The stars of the reality TV series Duck Dynasty are holding out for more pay.
The stars of the show — Phil and Si Robertson and their sons — are refusing to agree to another season with A&E unless their demands are met, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Reports say that the outdoorsmen are asking for $200,000 per episode for season four of the hit series. In addition, they want scheduled increases for any further seasons past that. The series is second only to the wildly successful show The Walking Dead in the valued 18-49 demographic. Last season’s debut drew 8.6 million viewers.
There is a history of salary holdouts for reality television shows. Fans of Jersey Shore had to wait when production was held up because the the stars asked for a 200% raise for season three. The fisherman of The Deadliest Catch quit when their demands weren’t met. They subsequently returned when the dispute was resolved.
