The man — Mohammed Nisham of Thrissur, India — had his wife film his son driving the car and posted it to YouTube, NDTV reports.
The parents allowed the boy to drive the expensive car because it was his birthday. In the video, at least one other child is seen in the back seat of the car.
When the video went viral, police in Thrissur began investigating. After viewing the video, officials arrested Nisham for violating India’s Juvenile Justice Act and made him post 5000 rupees — about $93 — in bail. The Ferrari has been returned to Nisham with the understanding that he will submit certain documents to the court for evaluation.
The son reportedly also has driven the Nisham’s Bentley and Lamborghini in the past.
