The 13 women — four of whom are allegedly pregnant with one inmate’s children — allegedly assisted in the smuggling of drugs and phones into the jail, WJZ-TV reports.

Authorities gathered evidence that led to the indictments via tapped cell phones, and got more than expected. The smuggled drugs and phones allegedly were sold by the gang members to other inmates in a scheme that authorities say made thousands of dollars per week for the gang.

All told, 25 people are facing charges in what’s being described as one of the biggest gang-related crimes involving the Baltimore detention center.

“These 25 defendants participated in running the activities of the Black Guerilla Family from behind bars in Baltimore City,” said the U.S. attorney filing the indictment.
