An outage for Time Warner Cable (NYSE:TWC) could be affecting more than 800,000 phone customers.
The company — which describes the issue as an “intermittent technical problem” — says some of its customers have not been able to use its home phone service, reports Bloomberg.
“There’s a technical issue preventing a limited number of our home phone customers from placing or receiving calls on an intermittent basis. Our engineers are working on the problem to restore service as quickly as possible,” the company said in a release. Emergency calls are still getting through.
Time Warner Cable is the second largest cable company in America. It currently serves 5 million residential phone customers.
